This is another LO done with the LilyBee Memorandum Collection Kit, we must be getting to the end of it soon, we’ve completed heaps of LO with it. I’ve made some Doilies with a Couture Creations die, added some Studio Calico Butterflies, flowers using the Tim Holtz Tattered Flower Garland Decorative Strip and used the Tim Holtz Vintage Lace Decorative Strip. Finished with a few paper roses, silver brads and a Rub-on – Cherish the time spent together.
Another Lo with the Crate Paper On Trend Collection Pack – the papers in this pack are just fantastic. It was Felicity’s 5th birthday party and one of her presents was a Make Up Kit – what fun she had putting it all on. We love the Couture Creation Chandelier die it is a great addition to a LO. Also the Quintessential Quote Stamps by Dyan Reaveley Dylusions is a super stamp set to use on LOs and Cards – we have these stamp set in store @ Craft Haven, and the Chandelier die too.
I am pretty sure that with sparkly shoes and a new tiara she could conquer the world.
This LO is very fussy when looked at besides some of the more simplistic ones we often post – but the Crate Paper, On Trend Collection kit is so full of beautiful papers it is a shame not to spend a little longer on a LO. There are lots of layers made with two scoops background sanded to distress, some LYB doilies, Tim Holtz Stamps, Inking, Rosette, paper rosebuds, embellishments from the kit and more – wow how cool is that. We just love these cute photos and how the page comes together to showcase these two special girls – G & F (Gwyneth & Felicity).
This LO happened because a friend took a photo of Bron dancing with Fee at the school disco. The photo shows the fun Mum & Daughter were having and this LO captures the memory of that moment perfectly. Bron used the Crate Paper Collection Kit – On Trend – this is a fantastic themed pack full of great patterned papers and easy to use embellishments.
This LO is very basic and easy, Two Scoops bazzill is so fun to use – I have used it in the background and sanded it to get a textured effect. The Echo Park – Little Girl Collection Kit has lovely bright patterns and die cut embellishments including my title. Sometimes it is good to do a LO that doesn’t take long and is very simple. I drew a sketch from this and used it at a Midnight Madness at
Craft Haven. It is enjoyable seeing all the different takes on one sketch.
A lovely LO with some cool hexagons and the Lily Bee Memorandum Collection kit. The stamps are Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz collection – our favourite red rubber stamps – the detail is amazing and using stamps on you LO adds another super dimension to your page. Think about using stamps where you would normally use a rub-on on your LO. You are only limited by how many colours of ink you have. The background is Kraft – another favourite “go to” color that works so well with most papers. Thickers are used for the title.
I had been so busy getting our shop Craft Haven up and running that I hadn’t had much time for scrapbooking – but now things are getting into a routine I have gott’n back into it – Yay!!! This LO is one of my latest – I used the Echo Park – Little Girl Collection Kit, a LYB Doily (love these), my favorite stamps, Stamper Anonymous – Tim Holtz, Spring Sprung and the EK Success Triple Butterfly punch (all of which are in store at the moment). I love a clean and simple LO and this is perfect.
Once again an old photo – 19 years old – my eldest son. Wow, where has the time gone? When I started scrapbooking I chose not to scrap consecutively – that is from baby years to present – but random photos as the mood took me. This way of scrapping has been great as my style has changed so much and it is really nice to have some of the “older” photos in LOs with my current style and of course all the wonderful things that we didn’t have when I started out over 10 year ago. I love rosettes or pinwheels or whatever you may call them – they are fun and add super dimension to your LO.
I have mentioned that I am going through some of my older photos – wow, it is so cool to look back at my boys and see how they have grown and changed. It is great to remember the little boy and the mischief in his eyes. This is my now 19 year old, how time flies. Must say I am pretty addicted to Kraft Cardstock as my ‘go to’ background – but it seems to just work.
