We love Glitz Designs Collection Kits and recently showcased them and their doodle rollers at a Midnight Madness. We used Finnley and Wild & Free two of our favourite collections. The doodle rollers are fun to use – although a little practise is required.
This is another LO done with the LilyBee Memorandum Collection Kit, we must be getting to the end of it soon, we’ve completed heaps of LO with it. I’ve made some Doilies with a Couture Creations die, added some Studio Calico Butterflies, flowers using the Tim Holtz Tattered Flower Garland Decorative Strip and used the Tim Holtz Vintage Lace Decorative Strip. Finished with a few paper roses, silver brads and a Rub-on – Cherish the time spent together.
I’ve been scrapping of “old” photos recently – this is from 1970. The Lily Bee Memorandum Collection Kits has been so fabulous to use and we have made over 10 LOs and there is still paper left. That’s what I call value for money. The Lily Bee embellishments and alpha stickers that come in the kit are fantastic too.
Last night – was Midnight Madness at Craft Haven. We papercrafted the evening away – and yes, by about 11:00pm it is all getting a little ‘mad’ – only in the crazy, fun, laugh till it hurts way – not the where is the straight jacket, lock me up way. We had a sketch challenge and this was my LO on display as inspiration for the sketch. I kept it pretty simple and clean as a good place to start for newbie scrappers. There is some perfect pearl mist, spritzed thru a TCW mask, but the photo doesn’t really show it up too well. I love the Cherry Lyn dies, and chicken mesh is a favourite of mine – so many different uses – here it takes on a fishing net look. Of course Washi tape is fun to work with and another fav of mine at the moment. The papers, lettering and pennants are from A Walk in the Park Collection Kit – by Echo Park.
